There are self-propelled and non-self-propelled rake-suction dredger, which is driven by dredge pump to stir and cut the screw rake head at the front end to collect underwater, and suck up the silt, sand, gravel and other loose materials underwater through suction pipe, and transport them to the destination through discharge pipe. During the working process of the dredger, in order to increase the effect of mud suction, the jet stream is added at the front end of the suction pipe to increase the concentration. This type of rake-suction dredger is suitable for underwater sandy, non-sticky soil, and also for loose, easy-to-flow mud.
