FT-8700 Class B automatic identification system shipboard equipment

Detailed introduction
First, the main performance
1, the characteristics of
FT-8700 is a general shipborne AIS equipment, which can exchange navigation and ship data information with other ships and shore stations. The equipment conforms to IMO MSC74 (69) Appendix 3.A.694.ITU-RM.137-3 and DSCITU-RM.825, and conforms to IEC61993-2 (type test standard), IEC60945 (EMC and environmental conditions).
FT-8700 is composed of transponder unit, display control unit, VHF and GPS antennas and related accessories. The transponder unit includes a VHF transmitter, two TDMA receivers, a 70-channel DSC receiver, an interface, a communication processor, a built-in GPS receiver, etc.
2. Main message
AIS ensures navigation safety by automatically exchanging navigation information with other ships or shore platforms.
2.1 Static data
Call Code AIGN and Ship Name
MMSI (9-digit code)
IMO No. (if any)
The Length and Beam of the ship
Ship Type
Position of GPS antenna on ship
2.2 Dynamic data
Ship's position
UTC (International Time)COG
SOG
Heading
Navigation status
Rate of Turn
2.3Navigation data
Draught
Dangerous Carog(Type))
Destination and ETA
2.4 Security-related short messages
Two, the main functions of the introduction
1. Automatic Ship Identification System (AIS) function
AIS data can be received and transmitted continuously and autonomously.
Can display the AIS data information of ships equipped with AIS equipment around the ship;
Static data include: MMSI, ship name, call sign, IMO number, ship type, ship size, GPS antenna position, ship nationality, etc.
Dynamic data include: latitude and longitude, ship speed, heading, steering rate, bow, bearing, distance, etc.
Voyage data include: navigational status, draft depth, type of dangerous goods, destination and arrival time, etc.
For the AIS target ship within the set range, the light and voice alarm can be given, and the alarm sound will constantly change as the distance approaches.
Emergency message sending and receiving
2. Alarm function
When a ship with a speed of more than 2 knots enters the range of 0.1-10 nautical miles from the ship, the red indicator light on the display terminal flashes, and the loudspeaker sends out an alarm sound: "Direction ×× degrees, ship is approaching ×× nautical miles away. Please be careful to dodge."
3. Target ship information display function
List shows target ship (range, azimuth, and 9-digit ID)
Vector diagram showing target ship (range options available from 1-100 nautical miles)
The target ship is shown on the electronic chart
4, Communications navigation function

The 8.0 inch color LCD screen can display the national coastline chart, place name information data and navigation point, route and track setting, editing and deleting operation;
Display of position, speed, course, track, time, date, etc.;
The storage of navigation points, routes and tracks is called;
Display of the orientation, distance and estimated time of arrival of the destination;
Arrival, Yaw, Alarm and Remind During Destination Navigation;
Can store 10000 navigation points, 10000 marking points, 200 routes, 200000 track points;
