Amphibious Multi-Functional Dredger - Technical & Safety Information
Amphibious Multi-Functional Dredger
The amphibious multi-functional dredger is an environmentally friendly amphibious multi-functional dredging vessel with a single deck, non-self-propelled, and steel welded structure. An automatically liftable outboard motor is installed at the stern of the hull to assist in maneuvering and shifting within the operation area.
The amphibious multi-functional dredger can realize movement on dry land through the combined actions of its working arm, support arm, and spud. It can crawl in swampy areas and on the ground with a maximum slope of 20°. Removable auxiliary buoyancy tanks are equipped on both sides of the dredger's hull to reduce the vessel's draft and enhance the stability during construction operations.
Various working tools such as a cutter pump, backhoe bucket, rake, rock breaker, clamshell grab, and steel sheet pile driver can be replaced and installed on the working arm of the amphibious multi-functional dredger according to project requirements. This enables a variety of construction operations, including building or repairing cofferdams, cleaning river channels, removing various aquatic plants and garbage, burying cables or pipelines, inserting plates or piling, and breaking rocks.
The navigational area of this amphibious multi-functional dredger is the Inland River Class B navigational area.

3 General Safety Regulations
- Before using this equipment, please read the operation manual provided by the manufacturer.
- Fully familiarize yourself with the equipment, including understanding how to operate it and the functions of each controller and instrument. For safe operation, you must be a trained and qualified operator to operate the amphibious multi-functional dredger.
- Before starting operation, daily inspection procedures must be carried out first to ensure the equipment is in good working condition.
- Never swing the loaded weights or the bucket over people's heads. If the amphibious multi-functional dredger is used for lifting operations, spuds and support arms must be used for support. Appropriate and reliable lifting accessories must be selected.
- Ensure no one is on the deck before tilting the spuds onto the deck.
- Ensure there is no risk of the equipment falling. The support arms must be pressed against the water bottom or placed at a position close to the water surface. The spuds must be pressed against the water bottom or placed in the transportation position on the deck.
- The operator must place the working device on the ground or secure it with chains when the equipment is supported only by the spuds and support arms.
- Before moving the equipment, the floats must be placed on the water surface.
- When leaving the equipment, pay attention to the weather conditions:
- Wind
- Sea waves
- Tide conditions
- If the support arm floats and spuds are involved, place the spuds horizontally on the deck after they reach the water surface. Secure the main arm of the working arm with chains to keep the working device away from the water surface.
- If possible, park the amphibious multi-functional dredger at the shore, place the backhoe bucket on the bank, and position the front part of the hull close to the shore. However, pay attention to the possible rise and fall of the tide level.
- The engine must be stopped.
- Do not perform grease filling operations while the engine is running.
- Keep the equipment clean and free of oil stains to prevent slipping accidents.
- Wear appropriate work shoes when working on the equipment.
- When transporting using the outboard motor, the working arm must be close to the equipment, and the backhoe bucket must be retracted. Moreover, the working arm must be secured in the middle position with chains.
- Know the location of the fire extinguishers and how to use them.
- Always keep track of the clearance height.
- When leaving, prevent unauthorized use of the amphibious multi-functional dredger by others.
- Do not allow any unqualified personnel to operate the amphibious multi-functional dredger.
- The equipment must always be in a state that complies with water traffic rules.
- Exercise special caution when the equipment is working with a 13° inclination relying on the spuds.
- Never walk under the equipment when it is being loaded onto a trailer.
- Unless the equipment is properly and reliably supported, never... (Note: Original text is incomplete here)
- Equip the necessary corresponding accessories in accordance with local or construction site regulations.
