The working principle of chain bucket dredger is: the lower end of the bucket bridge is put into a certain depth underwater to make it contact with the dredged soil layer. Then the bucket chain is driven by the upper guide wheel to make the bucket chain run continuously, driving the bucket on the bucket chain, dredging and loading, and then lifting out of the water with the rotation of the bucket chain and transferring it to the top of the tower, and after changing the direction by the upper guide wheel, the mud inside the bucket is poured into the mud well in the bucket tower under its own gravity. Finally, the sediment is discharged out of the dredger's gangway through the chute on both sides. Chain bucket dredger is suitable for dredging harbour pool, anchorage and building foundation trench because the levelness after dredging is better than other types of dredgers. Chain bucket dredger can excavate all kinds of silt, soft clay, sand and sandy clay.
Vessel Structurally Sound
The sand dredger is of box welded combined structure. It is composed of two groups of left and right symmetrical side buoyancy tanks. The left and right rear side buoyancy tanks are connected by three groups of connecting beams installed at the middle height of the floating body. The front and rear buoyancy tanks of each group of side buoyancy tanks are connected by bolts. The bilge adopts straight edge (or circular arc) transition, and the hull adopts single bottom, single shell, single deck, and transverse skeleton type all welded steel
