Cutter Suction Dredgers are very widely used among various types of dredgers. It can excavate, deliver, discharge and treat mud and other sediments as a whole procedure of desilting, and continously do construction work.
It sucts or extract the dredged sediments through the pipeline under vacuum condition of certain extent produced by centrifugal mud pump equiped with the dredger, lift it and discharge it through the discharging pipeline.
The rotating cutter device is installed at the entrance of mud suction pipe. It cut and stir mud/sand under water, to suck more mud/sand into the sucction head along with the water flow, and thus increase the slurry concentration. This raises dredging yield, and gets adaptable to many different soil textures.
