Common failures of the lubrication system of cutter suction dredger

The oil pressure is too low

Low oil pressure indicates insufficient oil supply in the main oil passage or serious leakage of the oil passage after the main oil passage. This is a common fault in the lubrication system (including: circulating lubrication system, centralized lubrication system, etc.). The main reasons are as follows

1. The amount of oil in the engine oil pan is insufficient. Check and add enough oil.

2. The oil filter is seriously blocked, the oil suction resistance increases, the oil suction volume decreases, and the oil suction pipe connection is not tightened. Clean the filter, and inspect the tightening of the connection.

3. The oil viscosity is low, so change to a suitable oil.

4. The oil pump is severely worn (a basic type of component failure), the pump oil pressure is low, and the pump oil volume is insufficient. Replace all oil pump parts.

5. The opening pressure of the pressure limiting valve is too low, resulting in too much oil return, prematurely, and causing the main oil passage pressure to drop. The lubrication system of the return valve is provided on the main oil passage. When the pressure of the return valve is too low or damaged, the pressure of the oil passage may decrease.

6. The oil filter in series with the main uranium channel is blocked, and the opening pressure of the safety valve is too high, the internal leakage of the oil pump will increase, the oil volume of the main oil channel will decrease, and the oil pressure will decrease.

7. The ohms between the bearings are too large and the oil passage is leaking. The oil passages at both ends of the connecting rod journal are blocked and leaked.

8. The centrifugal fine filter rotor is severely mixed with oil, or the rotor nozzle is worn, so that the amount of oil entering the fine filter is too large, and the amount of oil entering the oil passage is relatively reduced.

9. Wear of the sleeve ring at the front end of the curved uranium will cause the oil pressure to drop.

1. The oil holes of the main oil passage leading to the bearings are blocked by debris.

2. The return valve and the pressure limiting valve have large spring force, or the ball valve is stuck for some reason, or the oil drain is blocked (dǔ sè).

3. The oil temperature is too low and the viscosity is too high.

4. The oil pressure gauge is malfunctioning.

I. Long-term overload operation should reduce the load.

2. The radiator is partially blocked.

3. Cylinders and pistons have poor sealing performance, which causes high-temperature gas to escape into the crankcase and heat the oil in the oil pan.

4. The oil level of the oil pan is too high, causing the crankshaft to vigorously agitate the engine oil, or the amount of oil in the oil pan is insufficient, and the insufficient amount of pump oil reduces the heat dissipation effect of the oil circulation.

5. The lubrication system with organic oil to dissipate heat, if the transfer switch is not tight, and the radiator oil is not smooth, it will affect the oil heat dissipation effect.

6. The oil temperature gauge is malfunctioning.

1. The engine is not warmed up enough after starting.

2. The oil temperature gauge is damaged.

Excessive oil consumption

1. The oil pipe joint or joint cushion is damaged and leaks oil.

2. The piston ring is stuck and has no oil scraping effect.

3. The piston ring and ring groove are worn, pumping oil to the combustion chamber.
