It is necessary to confirm that the operating point of the mud pump is within the actual range, which is also a good choice with technical and economic performance.
Generally, the main factors are due to the pump properties and working conditions. Typical examples are shown in Figure below.
From the figure, it can be seen that the reasonable working range of the mud pump is only between 70% and 100% of the speed, and does not exceed the critical flow rate line and high efficiency line.
