There are various ways to drive the reamer of the suction dredger, and the common ones are hydraulic drive reamer and mechanical drive reamer. Hydraulic drive reamer is generally driven by hydraulic motor directly, or in order to increase the torque, it is driven by a hydraulic motor plus gearbox. The mechanical drive of stranded suction dredger sand pumping boat is generally driven by the motor-driven reducer, sludge treatment sets, sludge dredging equipment, or directly driven by cycloidal needle motor. If it is a large winch suction dredger, two high torque hydraulic motors are needed to drive at the same time.
