Cutter suction dredger has good performance
(1) The cutter suction dredger has a wide range of uses and can be operated in rivers, lakes and seas for dredging, channel excavation, and land reclamation. Under special circumstances, a cutter suction dredger is equipped with high-power (referring to how much work an object does in a unit time) cutter equipment, and it can excavate rocks such as basalt and limestone (composition: solid minerals or mineral Mixture) strata.
(2) The cutter suction dredger has high working efficiency, large output and long pump distance. Large-scale cutter suction dredgers can produce thousands of cubic meters per hour; the sand or crushed rock materials are pumped thousands of meters away through the mud pump and the mud pipeline with strong power.
(3) The cutter suction dredger is simple to operate and easy to control. The dredger relies on the trolley on the stern to position and step the steel piles. It uses the cutter arm to measure the steel cable and the anchor fixed to the trench and the anchor, which is towed by the winch, and the two compartments swing to cut the sand material. Working under a certain controlled swing angle, the wringed material is pumped to the accumulation yard through the mud pipe. The stepping of the dredger is made of two piles alternately moving forward.
(4) Large cutter suction dredger with self-propelled system. It can be self-propelled in place during migration. Most small and medium dredgers have no self-propelled system and are towed by tugboats. Small and medium-sized dredgers can be designed and built into an assembled type, transported to the site by land, and can be used after assembly.
(5) The cutter suction dredger is economical. The excavation and transportation of materials are completed at one time, without the cooperation of other ships, and they are carried several times. Relatively low engineering cost.
